FODR Annual Fee

Adult Private Boat Owners

This program is intended for those adults that own private boats and have had their Rack Applications accepted for storage space in the boathouse. Masters rowers in this program are also eligible to practice with the Masters Racing Program in FODR boats, at the discretion of the Master's coach. Rowers must: 1) have signed all related forms (applications, waivers), 2) follow all safety guidelines (traffic patterns, lighting, cold weather), 3) have paid all other required fees, and 4) comply with building/site access policies (gates, doors, alarms, etc).
$650 Program fee includes use of ergometers and weight rooms. Also required is the $100 FODR Annual Fee. All fees due March 31, 2021. NO REFUNDS after 3/31/21.

Masters Racing: On-Water Racing Season 2021 Partial Payment 1

Rowers will train to compete as a team at specific National and International Championship level regattas. Racing at local and regional regattas will be used to prepare for the Championship races.
This program is $550 total for the season May 1 - November 10, 2021. It is payable in a 2 payment installment. Both partial payment 1 and partial payment 2 must be paid in order to continue participating. Also required is the FODR Annual Fee of $100. Practices will be MWF and Sa. Practices may possibly be adjusted by the coach. **DBCC WILL ADHERE TO ALL COVID GUIDELINES**

STEM - Detroit Waldorf School

This Learn to Row program is reserved for students who attend Detroit Waldorf School. It will introduce students to the sport of rowing while teaching the science, math and physiology of moving a racing shell through the water.
Class sessions will be held in the historic Belle Isle Boathouse. Rowing sessions are on the Detroit River where the Detroit Boat Club Crew has been rowing competitively since 1839.

The summer Youth Learn to Row program is designed for young athletes of middle and high school age (grades 6-12) who wish to develop their skills in preparation for joining the Junior Racing Team. The program focuses on the essentials of rowing in the stable training barge for the beginners and transition into 8 person shells as they gain experience. In addition, athletes will learn valuable skills such as teamwork, fitness conditioning, and safety on the water.
Must have a minimum of 8 registrations in order for the class to progress. REGISTRATION IS DEPENDENT ON COVID GUIDELINES.
