On the "Clubs" page, when you drill down to the entries for a specific club, it is showing the incorrect time for the events. It is showing the database time (in Pacific) instead of the time for the race (Eastern).
Regatta Central developers are working to resolve this, though it may not get published until next week.
Please use the information from the Event List on the "Register" tab or "Entries" tab to see when your event is.
If there are any other instances of odd data or information, please send us or Regatta Central screenshots so that wethey can resolve it.
New This Year All lightweight crews are required to weigh in.
The weigh station will be open from 7:00 am to 10 am only. There will be no practice scale. One trial only will be permitted for weigh-ins. Lightweight rowers or crews that exceed the required weight by the expiry of the time permitted, may still race but with the status of exhibition (which means they will get a time, but won’t get a ranking or medal). Athlete identity will be verified at weigh ins only.
MASTERS ROWERS / CREWS MUST PICK UP AND RETURN BOW AND BACK MARKERS SEPARATELY FROM THE CLUB UNLESS THE HEAD COACH SPECIFICALLY ASKS FOR THOSE EVENTS.
RULES OF RACING
RCA rules of racing will be adhered to with the following exceptions: 2.3 Categories of Rowers and Proof of Age and Identity Junior / Under 19 — A rower or coxswain may compete as an Under 19 competitor until the 31st of December of the year in which s/he reaches the age of 18. Grade 7/8 / Under 15 - A competitor who in the current calendar year does not attain the age of 14 or who is currently and has been continuously enrolled in Grade 7 or 8 as a full-time student. Open— A rower or coxswain of any age may compete in an Open event.
To adhere to NCAA Bylaw 220.127.116.11 Competition against Prospective Student Athletes no junior aged (high school) athletes can compete in the Open or University/Collegiate category where there is a University entry from the U.S.A. 2.6 Weighing of Coxswains - there will be no actual weighing of coxswains. 2.9 Mixed Events - there must be a minimum of 50% female rowers, but there may be more women than men; there must be a minimum of 1 man 2.10.1 - Lightweight Competitors - The weigh station will be open from 7:00 am to 10 am only. Hosted by the South Niagara Rowing Club in late September every year since 1980, the Head of the Welland is run on the North Course of the Welland International Flatwater Centre.
