Polar Bear Regatta

At this stage the regatta is running as planned, providing the venue is open. A further review of the situation with the Park Manager, Chief Referee and Regatta Director will take place on Friday.
Given the probable conditions, the uniform rule is waived. Crews must dress appropiately, by this I mean warmly. Crews failing to comply with this safety instruction will be held from launching. Please impress on your crews that this is a safety matter; they are not to appear inappropiately dressed at the Start.
A further reminder to coaches this is a regatta for experienced rowers only. In previous years we have had difficulties with novice athletes in these conditions.
