The Nelson Sprints Regatta is open to rowers of all ages and experience. Races will include 500m sprints for novice crews in both Junior and Masters 1x and 2x. All other races will be 1000m. Boat types include 1x, 2x and 4x. A minimum of three entries is required for an event to run. The emphasis at the Nelson Sprints is on fun and friendly competition.

The regatta entry fee is $60. This fee includes entry in multiple races and a post-race BBQ and Awards ceremony. Individual registration for each athlete must be made via Regatta Central. 

Extra guests are welcome to attend the BBQ and Awards ceremony at a cost of $15/person. Advance notice is required to accommodate extra guests at the BBQ. Please notify the Regatta Chair by email at [email protected].

Massage for a Cause: A local School for Registered Massage Therapists will set up on site from 9:00 am-1:30 pm on the day of the sprints.  Sign-up will be available the morning of the 15th.  It is by donation and all proceeds go towards the massage students graduation fund.
