The Event:

Susquehanna Rowing Association is pleased to continue the tradition of hosting collegiate racing in the heart of Pennsylvania.  This event is open to all college crew teams and clubs.  With three years of post covid racing, a strong collection of collegiate teams have become part of this regatta.   The beautiful lake at Gifford Pinchot State Park typically offers excellent rowing conditions with great spectator views of the last 500 with ample free parking for team buses, trailers and fans.  

Location:

Gifford Pinchot State Park, Quaker Race Day Use Area.  Use 2900 Rosstown Rd Lewisberry, PA to get there by GPS.  All regatta events will be based out of the Quaker Race Day use area.  Free parking and ample room for trailers and buses.

Merchandise:

The official Gifford Pinchot Sprints Regatta t-shirt will be available for purchase the day of the regatta. Please stop by the merchandise table to check them out!

Rules:

Gifford Pinchot Sprints will follow all rules set forth by USRowing for the 2024-2025 year.

The Course:

A 2000-meter, 6-lane course consisting of 3 buoy lines has been installed for the regatta. Teams will launch from the Quaker Day Use Area and row the length of the course to the start line/holding area. They will then turn around, line up, and race through the finish line, which is directly in front of the Quaker Day Use Area.

Coaches & Coxswains Meeting:

The C&C meeting is scheduled for Saturday morning at 8:00am in the restroom and vending pavilion of the Quaker Race Day Use area.

Bow Numbers:

Bow numbers are required for each boat, and teams must supply their own..
