Public Transport to the Regatta Site

ACTION runs a public bus service to Yarralumla.  There are two routes involved; Route 2 runs on weekdays (Monday to Friday) except for Thursday 25th April, ANZAC Day, which is a public holiday.  Route 932 runs on Saturday and Sunday and on public holidays including Thursday 25th April.  There is a limited capacity to carry bikes on these buses.

Both Route 2 and Route 932 follow the same basic path through Yarralumla.  The best place to alight from the bus or catch it in Yarralumla is closest to the Novar Street, Schlich Street intersection, either on Novar Street or Schlich Street.  To reach the regatta site from this intersection follow Novar Street down to the lake cutting through to the left on the bike path to Weston Park.  The walk is approximately one kilometre.

Route 2 runs between the Woden Bus Station (Platform 4) to Yarralumla to the City Interchange (Platform 5) and then onto Dickson Shops approximately every 30 minutes, returning by the same route through the City Interchange (Platform 2) to Yarralumla and the Woden Bus Station.

ACTION Route 2: see timetable and map.

Route 932 runs between the Woden Bus Station (Platform 4) to Yarralumla to the City Interchange (Platform 8) and down Northbourne Avenue onto Belconnen Bus Station.  Although the bus does not stop in Dickson, bus stops close to the Northbourne Avenue Mouat Street intersection are close to the Dickson shops.  This bus returns to Yarralumla via the same route, stopping at the Civic Interchange on Platform 9.  These buses run on an hourly interval.

ACTION Route 932: see timetable and map.
