Welcome to the 27th annual Grand Regatta/State Games of Michigan! The regatta will be hosted, as usual, in beautiful Riverside Park just north of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Don't forget that this regatta is part of the State Games of Michigan... all athletes can attend Opening Ceremonies beginning at 7:00PM on Friday. Park for free at the boathouse and walk to the ballpark by 6 for a free meal, t-shirt, and spot in the athlete parade...! More details are at www.stategamesofmichigan.com. Even though this event is part of the State Games, athletes from any state are welcome to attend. You do not have to be a resident of Michigan to participate. Overnight security will be on hand at the Riverside Park regatta site on Friday night.

This year, the regatta will double as a preview for the 2014 USRowing Masters National Championships, which will be hosted on the same course in August. (Get more information at www.usrowing.org or www.2014nationals.us.)

This regatta is sanctioned by USRowing. As such, all attending organizations must be current organizational members of USRowing, and all unaffiliated rowers must have a Championship Membership with USRowing.

Also new this year, each Masters- and Seniors- level race will carry an additional fee of $1 per seat (including the coxswain), which will be donated directly to the National Rowing Foundation.
