Welcome to the Anacostia Sprints Regatta!
Capital Juniors invites you to join scholastic teams and independent junior clubs to compete on the Anacostia River on Saturday, April 21, 2018.
It's the Year of the Anacostia, and we are delighted to share our wonderful river with you!
In celebration of Earth Day, we encourage teams to join us before racing to assist the Anacostia Watershed Society cleanup activities around the boathouse. Please email the regatta director for more information.
Earth Day Cleanup: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Racing: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Race Distance: 1650 meters
Race Format: Floating starts - four lanes
