2018 Snowflake Regatta

Once again the East End Rowing Institute will host the Snowflake Regatta on the Peconic River in Riverhead, NY on Long Island.

The video below was created to help ensure that all participants can navigate the course safely and effectively.  More information about the race and the event can be found on our website, http://www.eastendrowing.com

The East End Rowing community welcomes novice, junior, and master rowers to our US Rowing sanctioned, 3000 meter head race on Sunday, Nov. 4th.  Our venue is the beautifully protected waters of the Peconic River in downtown Riverhead with convenient parking for cars, and trailers.  Rowers will launch in flights and are escorted to the start of the race.  The race course winds along the river with a finish line that provides clear, and protected viewing for friends and family. Schools, and teams can set up their tents along the river in designated areas for an enjoyable day!

  • Challenging, fun, and protected 3000 meter head race

  • US Rowing Sanctioned

  • Dry dock launch

  • Fresh water at the dock for wash down

  • Convenient Parking for trailers and cars

Our East End rowers are active members of the International Rowing community contributing, and volunteering to promote rowing excellence.  We are a non-profit group advocating good sportsmanship, and nurturing the development of young rowers.

Please join us at the Snowflake and celebrate the end of the 2018 fall rowing season.
