2018 World Rowing Coastal Championships
- Hosted By Open Aviron Rowing Coastal Association
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANADIAN AND AMERICAN ATHLETES
FISA's closing date for registration is September 10th. If you have a last minute crew before that date, you should contact either Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) or USRowing, as appropriate, to ask if they will enter your crew. It is the National Federation that must enter the crews with FISA. This RegattaCentral site was only used to create the listings for the individual federations.
Substitutions: If you need to substitute a crew member for any reason, refer to "Rule 59 – Crew Changes after the Entry Deadline and up to one hour before the First Heat" in the FISA Rules of Racing (http://www.worldrowing.com/fisa/publications/rule-book)
Note that it is the "Member federation" that must make the change, so you will need to confirm that change with your national federation.
RULES OF RACING
The FISA regulations as they apply to Coastal Rowing regattas (including Coastal Rowing boats) are detailed in the FISA Rules of Racing Appendix 22 Coastal Rowing Competition Regulations - Event Regulations and/or Departures from the FISA Rules of Racing.
The local organizing committee and army of volunteers are all looking forward to welcoming the rowing world to Victoria, home of the 2018 World Rowing Coastal Championships (WRCC 2018). Be sure to have a look at the event website for all the updates (https://www.wrcc2018.com/).
