POSTPONING INAUGURAL WATUPPA REGATTA

As a brand new rowing center, we are enthusiastic to open our 1500 acre glacial pond to the community. But due to the limited time-frame we realize our docks and race course may not be ready for our planned Inaugural Watuppa Regatta on October 13th. While this is a great disappointment, we are unwilling to risk a poorly run regatta and the safety of the rowers.

We do have 40 ft. of dockage already in place and we welcome teams and clubs to contact us about coming down to experience rowing this great body of water at no cost while we get our facility and race course fully set up.  50 miles south of Boston and 20 miles north of Providence, the Bay Coast Rowing Center’s Watuppa Pond is going to be a great destination for rowing and a compliment to all the great programs in our region.
