The Burnstown Rowing Club is hosting its Annual Invitational Head of the Madawaska Regatta on September 9, 2018. The Boathouse address is 1537 Highway 508, (Calabogie Road at Burnstown Beach).

The format year this year remains the same as in others, however due to a change at Rowing Canada/Row Ontario registration is through REGATTA CENTRAL and there are seat fees $5.50 per race ($2.25 ORA + $3.25 CRA) in addition to the same-day Regatta Registration cost of $25. This $25 gives you a day at the Beach, good company, a great rowing venue and a buffet of coffee and nourishment as long as supplies last! We encourage you to pay at the time of on-line registration until September 7th, 6PM. However registration on the day of the regatta for additional races will remain open with payment by cheque or cash with no late fees. It would be helpful if you email Bill Stevens(Bill-Stevens@bell.net)  of your intentions. You must have an RCA membership to row in this regatta.

Coaches and rowers information at 8:00

Head up to start 8:30

First race-- 3 km—9:00 start

Second race -- 4.5 km--- 10:30 start

Lunch (sausages and hamburgers for sale)

Third race-- 3 km—1:30 start

Water is provided for bottle refills.

This is a sanctioned event and RCA rules of racing, with a few exceptions, apply.
