OVERVIEW: Capital Sprints will include masters, novice, juniors and inclusion/adaptive events.  This year, we are offering both 2x and 1X open gender events.  We will have food trucks, medals, and loads of fun seeing old friends and making new ones!  The race will be held at the Anacostia Community Boathouse at 1900 M Street SE, Washington, DC.

We have an on-site parking area for up to nine trailers, offiste parking, with a free shuttle, for rowers and spectators, and shoreline viewing of the last 250m of the race course.

RACE CATEGORIES: All races will be 1000 meters.  We will run five lanes, tide permitting, and have open, masters, novice, juniors, inclusion, and adaptive events.

NOTE on Inclusion Events:  Inclusion 2x and 4x events must be composed of 50% para rowers.  The remainder of the rowers may be of any gender.  While rowers are generally required to represent only one club at a regatta, a rower who is an inclusion partner may represent the club of the adaptive athlete(s) in the race in which he/she/they are an inclusion partner.
