Rowing Cares' Pink the Boathouse Challenge

  In honor and support of the inaugural HOCR Survivor Row

                  October 1-31, 2024 

The Survivor Rowing Network (SRN) and Head of the Charles have partnered to host the inaugural HOCR Survivor Row on October 19, 2024, celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

Eleven 8+s of cancer survivors, women and men recovering from all cancers, from 15 rowing clubs have entered this historic race, including clubs from Italy and France and nine from across the U.S.

110 cancer survivors, twenty+ coaches and hundreds of supporters and volunteers have made this life-changing experience possible.

Join in the celebration and help support the growth of Survivor Rowing by participating in the 5th annual Pink the Boathouse Challenge!

Take the challenge our survivors will take on October 19: 

• Row/Erg (4,702 meters - the length of the Head of the Charles) or Run/Walk (3.2 miles) throughout October
• Form a Challenge team and participate safely in-person or virtually
• Fundraise to support the growth of Survivor Rowing 

 Proceeds fund the growth of Survivor Rowing programs around the world.

Your donation will help us create more opportunities for cancer survivors in recovery. In rowing they will find the restorative and strengthening benefits which aid in rehabilitation and comfort by being connected to a strong community.
