Light to building and variable headwind, 5-10mph with some stronger gusts.
Afternoon Conditions:
Stronger and variable headwind, 10-15mph with some stronger gusts.
Format:
Morning races were 1500m time-trials. Afternoon finals were 1500m with floating starts.
Top 2 times in the time-trial advanced to medal-finals. Other times were matched in non-medaling "open finals" to give all crews a chance for side-by-side racing.
