The 2012 regatta will be at the Lake Lanier Olympic Rowing Center, the site of the '96 Olympic Games. The regatta is expected to draw more than 1,500 rowers and 3,000 spectators, representing more than 50 college, scholastic and youth teams; including crews  from Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas,  Illinois, Ohio, Florida and even the great state of Maine.
