The 2012 Open Ocean Regatta -- Sunday, April 22
The Open Ocean Regatta takes place on San Francisco Bay in Sausalito, California. The short and medium courses stay on the more protected water of Richardson Bay. The long course goes out under the Golden Gate Bridge, and the water can be challenging. Conditions allowing, flatwater boats can race on the short and medium curses. Only open water boats are allowed on the Point Diablo course.
