The John Hunter Regatta is pleased to be at the Melton Hill Rowing Course and to join the Oak Ridge Rowing Association 2007 series of regattas. Melton Hill Lake is known as one of the best rowing venues in the United States and has been the site for a number of major championships including the U. S. Nationals, Women's Nationals, and Master's Nationals and the Pan American Trials. Oak Ridge hosted the USRowing Nationals in 1997 and 2000, one of only three sites to host the national championship regatta in the last 15 years.  In 2007 Oak Ridge will be hosting the NCAA Women's Championship and the USRowing Masters Nationals.
