Bea Ritchie Memorial Regatta
Location:
The Bea Ritchie Memorial Regatta Race Course is on the Little Arkansas River in Riverside Park, Wichita, Kansas. The race distance is 1000 meters. The race course start line is about 350 meters below the 11th Street Bridge, the finsh line is just above the Murdock Street Bridge.
The regatta is staged from the River Park Place, 727 N Waco Ave., Wichita, Kansas. Check online or see one of the Regatta Maps.
Race Course:
The race start is South of the 11th Street Bridge and the finish is just above the Murdock Street Bridge. The race distance is 1000 meters following a mostly straight section of the Little Arkansas River. There is one bridge on the race course. Bridge arches for warm up and race lanes are marked by large signs with green arrows.
Viewing the Races:
There are streets and/or sidewalks along the entire race course and a good vantage point can be had anywhere along the race course. The race course is entirely within the Riveside Park.
