If water conditions are unsafe at the proposed start line for Leg 2, Plan B will be implemented, in which the start line will be moved 1000m east at the position of safety boat #3, near Ladner Harbor.
If water conditions are unsafe on the river the day of the regatta, Plan C will be implemented in which the Head Race will be shortened to 4.5 km and take place within the slough. A course map for Plan C will be posted soon.
