Launch from Maine Department of Conservation boat lunch easterly of Kennebec Banks Rest Area, on route 2 (DeLorme Maine Atlas, Map 21, area 1B)
Course: 5,000 meters (3+ miles) Head Style
South, downstream, from start-finish area adjacent to launch site, approximately 2,500 meters (approximately 1½ miles) to the turn marked by two orange BEMA buoys. Leave the buoys to port as you turn upstream back to the start-finish line.
