The regatta is hosted by Essex Rowing Association, Inc. located at 656 Lowell Street, Methuen, MA 01844.
Our 5K course starts about 4K upriver from our launch dock. It is essentially a straight course with some turns at the beginning and end of the course.

Limited trailer space is available at Essex. Please coordinate with the regatta office if you are brining a trailer. Car-toppers are directed to bring their boats to the field immediately down river of the launch site and park their cars in the regatta field. Trailers MUST reserve a space before arrival.
Trailer Parking Reservation Form
Parking is available across the street from our boathouse at the MKS parking lot. Parking fee is $10 per vehicle. Car-toppers do not have to pay this fee.
Any athletes or teams who are able to launch from their own boathouses on the Merrimack River are encouraged to do so.
