Racing will take place on the traditional Fall Classic 5000 meter course on the Willamette River in downtown Portland. New,--junior novice crews will race the full 5000 meters, but will warm up on the east side of Ross Island to reduce the time it takes to get to the start.
2018 Course Map--note that junior novices will race 5000 meters this year, but will warm up to the east of Ross Island on the alternate course warm up, to save time getting to the start.

In case of bad weather, an alternate course may be rowed. The alternate course ends at the 3000 meter mark. All rowers, including novices will race this alternate course if needed. Warm up for the alternate course is marked on the alternate course map.
