Head of the Des Moines

  • Hosted By: Des Moines Rowing Club
  • 2016 Registered Regatta

OUR COURSE:

The 25th Annual Head of the Des Moines Regatta is an exciting three-mile course with long straight aways and negotiable bends along a greenbelt course that begins with a beautiful view of downtown Des Moines and ends in a riverside park.  The course provides plenty of opportunities for athletic and experienced crews to excel.  Weather and river conditions at this time of year are typically favorable for rowing.
