Sr and U23 Summer Rowing

Program Description General Sculling Fee - Summer Season (For experienced rowers only, 18+ years old) Summer Season: When Cold Water Rules Are Lifted – August 31, 2024 The Summer Rowing program allows an approved rower who has paid a rowing fee assessment to use WSRC approved sweep and/or sculling equipment, as determined by the Head Coach/Staff of West Side Rowing Club, and subject to equipment availability. All program participants using Club equipment must have passed the necessary safety qualifications before using any equipment without an accompanying coach on the Black Rock Canal. In addition, all coxswains must be approved by Staff which plan to participate in this program. Equipment must be reserved using the iCrew reservation website. Away regatta fees not included. Club Equipment is unavailable during registered summer team programming. Fee: $250 more info

A rower and coxswain who is no longer an Under 19 athlete shall be classified as Under 23 until the 31st of December of the year in which he or she reaches the age of 22. After that date, the athlete shall be classified as Senior. Athlete in the U23/Senior program will train together and compete in a competitive environment. Start Date: June 17th End Date: August 5th ****NEW FOR 2024**** An additional fee for participation in Canadian Henley will be $75.00 for those selected and will be charged before the regatta takes place.**** more info
