All competing programs must be a full or provisional participant of the Massachusetts Public Schools Rowing Association.  For information on joining the MPSRA please go to our web page for contact information.  www.mpsra.org

Eligibility of Participant Athletes:

1.  All athletes participating in any event organized by the MPSRA must:

a.       be enrolled as a full time student at a Massachusetts public school, or

b.      be enrolled as a part time senior on track to graduate in the current academic year from a Massachusetts public school, or

c.       be a home-school student eligible to participate through his/her local public high school,

d.      and be a "Junior" as defined by USRowing's Rules of Rowing

2.  Novice status ends after one calendar year of competition as a high school student.

3.  Sculling events may be entered by crews not affiliated with a Participant Program, subject to the following conditions:

a.       all participants are members of the same school system,

b.       are enrolled as a full time student at a Massachusetts public school, or

c.      enrolled as a part time senior on track to graduate in the current academic year from a Massachusetts public school, or

d.       is a home-school student eligible to participate through his/her local public high school,

e.      and be a "Junior" as defined by USRowing's Rules of Rowing
