Bus Drivers

Welcome to the Orlando Area Rowing Society's 12th Annual OARS Invitational Regatta.

-         As you enter the main parking lot today, please make a sharp left.

-         Busses will unload their passengers and gear to the left side of the lot and then move out of the main parking lot.

-         You do not need to park in the main lot this year.  OARS parking lot attendants will direct you.

As you are unloading, please read the remainder of this note.

Once you have emptied your bus, you will proceed around the perimeter of the lot exiting the main parking area down the center parking lot road.

After exiting the main parking area, proceed along the main exit road as if you were leaving the park.  To avoid disrupting traffic flow, we ask that you cue up along both sides of the main exit road near Pavilion 6.  Wait there until the majority of the cars have entered the park (probably about 8am).

There is room for about 8 busses (maybe 10) near Pavilion 6. Pavilion 6 was on your right as you entered the park (near the horse farm).

Once Pavilion 6 is full, the remainder of the busses can park under the trees, on both sides of the road, just before you enter the main parking lot.

Please Note: Due to the proximity of the animals to Pavilion 6 and the proximity of the campground to the main parking lot, we ask that you turn your engines off as much as possible.

As the day goes on, we will provide instructions for picking up your team and departure from the park.  The plan is to again get you into the left side of the main parking lot to make picking up your passengers and their gear as close and as easy as possible.

We appreciate your patience.  Thanks again for attending the 2010 OARS Regatta.
