The Collegiate 8+ events for both Men and Women, as well as the Varsity Junior 8+ events for both Men and Women and Master's 8+ for both Men and Women, will be run as a seeded head-to-head race for shirts. There will be a coaches poll for each club entered in the event to seed the 8's against each other.
The boats will be sent down the course in pairs and the losing boat from each pair will give their shirts to the winning boat in the pair.
Medals will still be awarded to the top 3 boats in each event, based on overall finish times in the event.

Teams and participants also competing in Sunday's Rocky Top Half Marathon will enjoy the same venue with a completely different race course, and a whole new experience to create a well-rounded rowing experience.
