The course:

The turn is a 150 meter diameter circle, designated with 12 bright green buoys.  The buoys form a circle (180 degrees); like an inverted thermometer. There will be a dock section in the center of the buoys with an arrow so that the coxs know which way to go.  They must keep the buoys on their starboard side at all times.  There is a 30 sec penalty for crossing each green buoy.

We had rowers of all different levels in 4s and 8s trying the turn last night and they had no problem.

The turn is a wide sweeping continuous turn.

We plan to have a 'live stream' video camera on the dock section which will be transmitted to the shelter house.
