The name of this Cup is an intentional double entendre.  It is first meant to recognize the importance of the camaraderie that we enjoy from our teammates and the larger family of rowers.  As importantly, it is intended to thank those important people in our lives (spouses, significant others, children, pets, friends) who may or may not be rowers, but who put up with the hours that we spend at the boathouse (sometimes even joining us!), the amount we talk about rowing, and our other various rowing related obsessions..........
