Course Tours:

Due to the safety concerns associated with rowing on the Cuyahoga River NO visiting crews will be allowed to row on Saturday September 15th. To give coaches, scullers, and coxswains an opportunity to preview this challenging course we will be offering a course tour on the Holiday, a local touring boat. An experienced coach/coxswain will give inside tips on how to expertly steer the course & gain an advantage over you competition.

Where: Tour will depart from Cleveland Rowing Foundation dock. Boathouse is located at 1003 British Street, Cleveland, OH 44113.

Time: 5pm or 6:15pm, boarding will begin 15min prior to start of tour.

Cost: Early registration deadline 8/31/12. $10 per person before early registration deadline. $15 per person after early registration deadline.

Boxed Dinner: Can be added for $10 from Feed Me. Includes a turkey BLT wrap or a grilled vegetable wrap. Both come with fruit salad, chips, chocolate chip cookie and bottled water.

Length of Tour: Approximately 45minutes.

Do you want to race at the USRowing Masters National Head Race but don’t have a way to get your boat to Cleveland?
 
 
The Cleveland Rowing Foundation (CRF) will facilitate boat rentals with local clubs to provide out of town crews with equipment. Rentals will be assigned on a first come first serve basis depending on the type & size of shell desired.
 
 
Rental Costs: dependent on age & condition of shell
1x = $35
2x/2- = $50-$60
4+ = $100-$120
8+ = $200-$240
 
Payment by check must be received by September 9th to guarantee equipment.

Boat Manufacturers may also be present to rent shells. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
