Austin Rowing Club's junior team will have a concession stand with plate lunches, breakfast items, snacks and beverages.
Dear Coaches and Athletes -
We are excited about our upcoming Heart of Texas Regatta March 2-3 and are looking forward to you joining us. We wanted to be proactive and make you aware of a change for 2013 due to construction on Lady Bird Lake.
The City of Austin is pouring concrete pillars for the new Boardwalk on the South shore of the race course. Due to safety concerns with the barge and equipment that is placed in the water we are only going to have the capability to have a six lane course for 2013. What this means for you is that our entries will be capped at 18 per event and not our normal 21. We were hoping that the City would be complete with this phase of the project by regatta weekend but that will not be happening. Our main concern is with your safety and we are not willing to take any chances where safety is concerned. We will have a wait list for all events and are anticipating events to fill up quickly.
