Pulling for Pink Partnership
Austin Rowing Club Supports Breast Cancer Awareness - Pulling for Pink! Austin Rowing Club is proud to announce a partnership with the Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) for the Head of the Colorado Regatta, where the athletes and attendees will invited to participate in Pulling for Pink.
Each of the 12 scheduled quadruple scull races has been sponsored as a way to raise funds for a donation on behalf of ARC. Racers and spectators alike can also support Pulling for Pink by visiting our VIP area sponsored by Capital Cruises (21 and over only). A limited quantity of Pulling for Pink t-Shirts and other fun items will be available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting the Pulling for Pink partnership. Our fundraising goal for this regatta is $5000.
There will be fun awards for the best costumes celebrating the pink theme as well as special medals for the winners of each of the quad races. For questions, or if you would like to donate, please contact Angie Houtz at [email protected].
Food Concessions
The ARC Junior Boosters will provide concessions for the Head of the Colorado. The concession stand will be open from 6:30AM to 3PM Saturday, serving coffee, breakfast, snacks, drinks, bratwurst, veggie burgers, and hamburgers. Come out and support your Junior Boosters!
