With great disappointment the decision has been reached to cancel the 2013 Pittsford Pull the Plug Regatta.
The reason is safety. The weather forecast is for the racing to take place with temperatures starting at about freezing and not rising much during the race day topping out at 38 degrees. In addition there are rain and snow showers in the forecast. After consultation with our USRowing Referees and considering the safety of the young men and women who will be on the water we made the difficult decision. Our most sincere apologies for the inconvenience this will cause crews who were planning to attend.
This would have been our 17 year for the regatta. BUT, We will be back next year with both our Pittsford Regatta in June 2014 and the Pull the Plug Regatta November 2, 2014.
