Check-in

Check-in begins at 8:00 AM.  It will be held in the parking lot between the Gillin Boathouse and the Canoe Club.  Look for our tent.  Pick up your bow marker there.

Coxswains Meeting

The coxswains meeting will be held at 8:15 in the parking lot between the Gillin Boathouse and the Canoe Club,

Racing

Racing begins at 10:00 AM.  The schedule will be posted on the "Heat Sheet/Draw page two days before the regatta.

Format

3 Turn races, followed by 3 Burn races for the same events, and so on.

Row your Turn race, turn around and paddle up the west side to the top of the island and marshal for your Burn race 15 minutes later.

Use your Turn bow number for the Burn race, too.

The burn race will be a "quick start".  Instructions will be "Attention, Go"

Book drive

Concurrent with this regatta, PCF will be holding a book drive as part of it's "Reading for Success" program.
Please ask all your participants to donate a new and gently used books for grades K-8 for this program.

We will have bins available in which to leave these at the registration tent.

Launching boats

For crews from not using one of the Schuylkill Navy boathouses, the Canoe Club dock is not available.
You may launch your boat from the dock just downstream from Gillin boathouse. 

After the race

Please return the bow marker to the registration tent and pick up your medals.
