This is the 5th Annual Ithaca Inlet Ice Breaker, hosted by the Cascadilla Boat Club.
The beginnings of the event were in the spring of 2009, when Cascadilla invited Pittsford crew to Ithaca for an informal scrimmage. Everyone has such a good time that we decided to do it again the next year.
Liverpool joined in 2010 and since the event was early in the racing season, we dubbed it the "Ithaca Inlet Ice Breaker." Liverpool and Pittsford both returned for the 2nd "Icebreaker" in the spring of 2011.
2014 sees the IceBreaker move to the East side of the Inlet, being hosted from the Ithaca College Boathouse.
Attending teams have historically been Pittsford, McQuaid, Liverpool, and Baldwinsville. Please contact us if you'd be interested in adding the IceBreaker to your schedule!
