The Head of the Oklahoma will be held on the Oklahoma River, adjacent to downtown Oklahoma City and the Bricktown entertainment district. Regatta Park is located off Byers Avenue, just west of the Byers Avenue Bridge and south of Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World retail store (visible from I-40).

Only trailers and tow vehicles will be allowed into Regatta Park. All other vehicles must park in the designated Head of the Oklahoma parking areas located on the east side of Byers Avenue Bridge. Trailers will be allowed into Regatta Park on Friday evening for staging and boat rigging.

FROM THE SOUTH

I-35 North into Oklahoma City

Take CENTENNIAL EXWY/I-235 N/US-77 N toward OKLA. HEALTH CENTER/STATE CAPITOL/EDMOND (as you approach Downtown OKC)

Take the WESTBOUND SHERIDAN AVE exit- exit number 1C- toward DOWNTOWN.

Turn LEFT onto S LINCOLN BLVD

LINCOLN BLVD. turns to BYERS AVE. at RENO AVE. Head south on BYERS under I-44. REGATTA PARK IS JUST SOUTH OF THE I-44 BRIDGE AND BASS PRO SHOPS ON THE WEST SIDE OF BYERS AVE. Trailer and VIP parking will be available on the west side of BYERS AVE. All other parking will be in the marked lots of the east side of BYERS AVE.


FROM THE NORTH

I-35 S into Oklahoma City.

I-35 S becomes I-40 W.

Merge onto CENTENNIAL EXWY/I-235 N/US-77 N via exit number 126 toward OKLA. HEALTH CENTER/STATE CAPITOL/EDMOND.

Take the WESTBOUND SHERIDAN AVE exit- exit number 1C- toward DOWNTOWN.

LINCOLN BLVD. turns to BYERS AVE. at RENO AVE. Head south on BYERS under I-44. REGATTA PARK IS JUST SOUTH OF THE I-44 BRIDGE AND BASS PRO SHOPS ON THE WEST SIDE OF BYERS AVE. Trailer and VIP parking will be available on the west side of BYERS AVE. All other parking will be in the marked lots of the east side of BYERS AVE.


FROM THE WEST

Turn LEFT onto S LINCOLN

Take the exit- exit number 151A- toward LINCOLN BLVD.

Turn LEFT onto S BYERS AVE.

Trailer and VIP parking will be available on the west side of BYERS AVE. All other parking will be in the marked lots of the east side of BYERS AVE.


FROM THE EAST

I-40 West into Oklahoma City.

Merge onto CENTENNIAL EXWY/I-235 N/US-77 N via exit number 126 toward OKLA. HEALTH CENTER/STATE CAPITOL/EDMOND

Take the WESTBOUND SHERIDAN AVE exit- exit number 1C- toward DOWNTOWN.

Turn LEFT onto S LINCOLN BLVD.

LINCOLN BLVD. turns to BYERS AVE. at RENO AVE. Head south on BYERS under I-44. REGATTA PARK IS JUST SOUTH OF THE I-44 BRIDGE AND BASS PRO SHOPS ON THE WEST SIDE OF BYERS AVE. Trailer and VIP parking will be available on the west side of BYERS AVE. All other parking will be in the marked lots of the east side of BYERS AVE.



Equipment will be stored on the grass at the regatta site. Equipment can be stored on trailers, but trailers will be parked in a separate location. Security will be provided Friday and Saturday nights for the area designated to store equipment. There will be no security for the area to park trailers. You should ensure your trailers are secure and all valuables are removed.



The Head of the Oklahoma is the premier fall event in Oklahoma City and there is no entrance fee to enjoy the excitement and pageantry of the regatta. Guests wishing to participate in the variety of interactive opportunities, the Kids Crew activity zone or to have access to premium viewing locations may purchase commemorative regatta pins at designated locations for $5. The pins must be worn to have access to the designated locations and activities.



Ample free parking will be available with premium parking located in locations adjacent areas to the Regatta Park entrance. Premium parking will cost $7 per vehicle. A pin and premium parking pass may be purchased together in advance for $10. Trolleys will be available to shuttle guests from the parking areas to the Regatta Park entrance.
