Important: The 2015 Murphy Cup is a USRowing Registered Regatta. All organizations are required to be current organizational members of USRowing and all participants are required to sign a USRowing waiver online at Regatta Central. We will not be accepting paper waivers.

PROGRESSION
- Stake boats will be used.
- There will be four buoy lines on the course - outside lanes 1 and 6 and between lanes 2/3 and 4/5.
- Three or more entries are required to run an event.
- Events with six (6) or less entries - final only.
- Events with two heats – top 3 from each heat to final.
- Events with three heats – top 2 from each heat to final.
- Events with four heats – winner from each heat and next two fastest times.
- Events with five heats – winner from each heat and next fastest time.
- Events with six heats – winner from each heat.
- Varsity 8’s will be seeded based on coaches poll.
- There will be a petite final for the Varsity 8’s only.
**IMPORTANT – There will be stake boats used. Please make sure all coxswains & crews know how to lock onto a stake boat and get a point. We will not allow for excessive delays due to the inability to lock on or get a point.
BOW NUMBERS
Crews are responsible for providing their own bow numbers
Bow numbers are REQUIRED for each boat.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
All boats must have bow balls firmly attached and firmly tied heel ties on each set of shoes.
MEDALS
Medals will be awarded for first, second and third place for fully subscribed events.
WEIGH-INS
Weigh-ins will not be conducted.
Crews will be on the honor system.
Lightweight Women – 130 lbs. maximum weight per rower, no boat average.
Lightweight Men – 160 lbs. maximum weight per rower, 155 lbs. boat average.
Boats will not be weighed.
