Head of the Brazos adheres to the US Rowing rules and regulations. Click here to read them.
Specific Head of the Brazos rules:
- Each rower must turn in their waivers before they can compete, both HOB waiver and US Rowing waiver.
- You must beat another boat in order to win a medal. Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place only.
- Medals can be picked up no sooner than two hours after race start time. Distribution of medals may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Make sure to file all complaints immediately. Complaints will not be accepted after medal distribution.
- When racing, do not overtake boats while passing under bridges.
- Noncompliance with US Rowing rules with result in penalties or disqualification.
- Hot seating will take place at the recovery dock. Please alert the dock master before hand.
- If hot seating, all bow seat rowers must wear pink hot seat paper (found in regatta packet with safety pins).
