Heat sheets now posted at rowtown.org.

We are strongly requesting that experienced coxswains are used to cox your novice boats.  The tide will be going out during the novice race and can make for some difficult steering especially the last turn before the finish line

Lunch tickets are available to preorder for $6.00.  To preorder lunches please contact Renee Elliot at [email protected]   and let her know how many tickets you need. Tickets will be distributed at registration.  Remember no grills are allowed in public areas without inspection per a city ordinance this is why we offer the cooked lunches.

No trailers before 6:00 AM.  If you arrive before 6:00 please wait with your trailer until we can park you.  Parking is limited so we have to park you in a very specific way.  Follow the directions of our volunteers, they will direct you to where you need to park.

No chuck wagons/food trailers in the parking lots.  Be prepared to unload your tables, tents, etc and park the little trailers down the street past the boathouse entrance.

Coaches and coxswains meeting is at 8:15 AM on the 2nd floor of the boathouse.  Use these videos to familiarize your coxies with the course.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9Jrfwxui6A  (note; WRC docks are no longer at the finish but directly across from WYRA now.)  Please  pay attention to the traffic patterns shown in that video, they give a very clear idea of where you need to be when on the water. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzHoti9-rUc   This one is the Radnor boys 4+ from last year, the actual start is at the river taxi and where they caught a buoy,  Don’t hit the buoys.

Control Commission, boats will be inspected for heel ties and bow balls in the parking lot at your trailer.  We will have our inspectors walk through the lot several times over the course of the day.  Inspected boats will be marked with a sticker.

Launching for the race, we are going to attempt to bring boats to the dock in their start order.  This will hopefully allow for easier marshaling at the start.

To make launching more efficient we are asking teams to have helpers carry oars to the dock.  It will also be good to have help when retrieving the boats after the race to have helpers get the oars then as well.

Cartopped 1x's and 2x's are to use WRC 501 East A Street, directly across the river from WYRA.  Please follow the directions of the WRC volunteers.

Inclement Weather, In the event of bad weather it is Cheif Referee's decision when to call the regatta.  We will make every attempt to run a safe, fair event.  This could include shortening the course if conditions are such that we can safely use part of the course.

If we have to call the regatta one option is to have an indoor race on ergs on the 2nd floor of the boathouse.
