Mark Your Calendars: The 21st annual Head of the Cuyahoga (HOTC) regatta is set for Saturday, September 17, 2016:

 

* Club, collegiate and scholastic rowing teams as well as individual scullers will be racing. More than 2,000 rowers representing 48 programs competed last year.

 

* Boats race a 5,000-meter course from just north of Arcelor Mittal Steel to Rivergate Park (you can see the finish line from the patio at Cleveland Metroparks' popular Merwin’s Wharf pub).

 

* Rivergate Park, home of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation Boathouse, is at 1003 British Street, Cleveland.

 

* Racing begins at 8 a.m. and ends by 4 p.m. Rain or shine.
