The Beat the Beast this year will feature new events, new distances and a new relationship with KidSport.
A portion of each entry fee and erg sale will be donated to KidSport to help local kids participate in sport. You'll be able to ask about KidSport during the Beast and if you want to donate loose change or donate online you'll be able to do that as well. It's a great charity and we're looking forward to seeing how many kids we can help. Check out our KidSport website for more information.
**New Changes to Racing this Year**

We are an approved Concept2 race site this year! This means if you achieve the standard for your event, Concept2 will provide a stipend for you to attend the World Rowing Indoor Championships in Long Beach, CA on Feb 27, 2019. The standards can be found HERE

Offering more distances for masters athletes. More race distances mean more opportunities for masters athletes.

Updated age groups with relay and individual races.

2km relay races with results based on a gold standard. Lightweights versus Heavyweights, Men versus Women. (most gold standards will be based on 2km worlds best time). Your entry fee includes one individual race and your relay entry. Here's a great example of how the relay will be done. Key to this race is the switches ;) CHECK HERE For the relay races please hold off on entering your teams on Regatta Central. This is a very new, and exciting format, but we're working out the kinks here on the regatta central side so you don't get charged if you've already raced earlier in the day. Erg Purchase Information
We've sold all of our ergs for 2019 but please contact Brent Duncan if you have any questions about purchasing ergs at a different time or to register your interest to buy ergs at the 2020 event. The more information we know in advance, the more ergs we can make available for sale. To inquire about purchasing an erg at a great price, contact Brent Duncan.
