The Inagural Illinois Junior Rowing Invitational

We are starting a new race to showcase the incredible talent at the junior level in the region. After 5 years of hosting collegiate racing on Clinton Lake, our partnerships with the local community have helped us to begin building up our lake towards one of the premier racing venues in the Midwest. Last year, thanks to a lot of local support, we were able to install the framework for a permanent 2K course and clear our space along the shore for spectators and shell storage. As we continue to grow, we are planning to continually investment in expanded infrastructure and operations.

This inaugural race will be a USRowing registered regatta and will feature some of the top schools and clubs from the state of Illinois and surrounding region. In addition to a full slate of events and traditional points championships, we will be recognizing the top performing program from Illinois as a State Champion.  We are excited to launch this event and can’t wait to see you all there!
