The First GGRC Erg Challenge was held in 2017 in Somerville. It was our first adventure into a home erg race. We set it up a little different in that the goal was not to do a fast 2k but to see how far you could erg in 10 minutes. The format was fun and we enjoyed the concept.
After going through feedback, we decided to go to a traditional erg race format of 2ks, 1ks, and 500m relays and move the event to the Somerville High School Field House.
For 2019, we are returning to the SHS Field House again! Looking forward to a lot of PRs!
