The Christmas Regatta can only happen with the dedicated participation of many club members.

Dear LBRA Members,

The weekend of December 4 and 5 is just around the corner and we need YOU to help put on the 54th annual Christmas Regatta.  This is a festive and exciting event so plan to race, socialize and volunteer!

Saturday, December 4, visiting clubs will be arriving all day with the Marine Stadium race course open from 12:00 - 4:00 pm for practice.  Sunday, December 5, racing is from 7:30 am to 4:45 pm. 

As part of your LBRA membership committment, you are required to fulfill volunteer hours each year.  This is the LBRA event that is fun and easy to fulfill your hours.  Every position is simple to learn and virtually all of the volunteering positions allow you to watch the races.  Can't fit in a 4-hour time slot with your races? There are "generic" 2-hour time slots too so sign up and help run an iconic holiday sprint race! 

New members, plan to volunteer so you can meet people and really experience the regatta.  Call me directly at (714) 293-9604 so we can get you scheduled for the right position.

This year, we have floating docks for stakeboat holders (a really fun job!) and thanks to the efforts of Brandin Grams and his crew, races will be live streamed by drones to be viewed on YouTube Live or one of the monitors located on Beach Side or Boathouse side.
