VOLUNTEERS

As you all know, we can only do what we do because of the countless amazing volunteers here in our NS rowing community. Not a rower? That's okay! No rowing experience required. Never volunteered at a regatta? No problem. Row NS is always looking for new volunteers to help out! It's the best seat on the lake and a great way to give back. There will be a morning shift (starting at 7am) and an afternoon shift (starting at 11am) each day.

Here are some of the roles we will need to fill:

- Timers (x3/shift)

- Announcer (x1/shift)

- Umpire boat drivers (x2/shift)*

- Safety boat drivers (x3/shift)*

- Assistant/Buddy for safety boat driver (x3/shift)

- Help to get snacks/lunches ready for volunteers and umpires

* Must have a Boater's License/Pleasure Craft Operator's Card

Please send an email to [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering.

COVID SAFETY PLAN

Row NS will be providing all clubs with a COVID Safety Plan prior to the regatta.  This plan will be posted in the FAQ section on Regatta Central and on our event webpage: www.rowns.ca/sprints/.

In addition to the event COVID Safety Plan all participants, coaches and personnel will be required to abide by the current public health guidelines provided by the Province of Nova Scotia.

OTHER NOTES

There will be no food services or drinking water available on site. Please bring your own.
