Head of the 941

  • Hosted By: Sarasota Crew

Coaches and athletes,

We hope to see you at the Head of the 941 on November 20th and 21st, 2021. Formerly known as Head of the Hog, we look forward to hosting our past as well as new participants. In 2020 we were able to host nearly 30 clubs from all over the Southeast.

This year the regatta will take place over two days so that we can maximize the number of events in which each athlete may participate. Events will be offered in U15, U17, U19, U23, Open, and Masters (A-K), sweeping and sculling.

The regatta will return to Nathan Benderson Park and run on its familiar and exciting course, providing an opportunity for coxswains to show off their skills around the tower turn.

Our registration will open October 5th, 2021. We will be running normal registration until November 10th, and late registration until November 19th.

We look forward to seeing you at the Head of the 941!

Sincerely,

Steve McCarthy, Regatta Director
