Several campsites have scenic views of the Chickahominy River and Gordon Creek and some campsites have access to water. Campsites include everything from basic tent sites to full hookup sites for RV’s. There are no cabins available. Campers have access to 2 bathhouses with a slop sink at each bathhouse. There is a limit of 6 people (up to 4 adults) per site and no more than 2 tents. Campsites may be reserved 12 months in advance and on a monthly basis. Fees are based on residency; view our Park Fees for more information. Reservations may be made by calling 757-258-5020 or by walk-in. Payment is due when the reservation is made.

Water Recreation

The park offers a public pool, and a 290-foot lighted fishing pier that’s available for use 24 hours a day and a catch-and-release pond. A fresh water license is required for all fishing in the park for anyone over the age of 16. The park also features a boat ramp to launch personal watercraft and it’s also available for use 24 hours a day. Please stop in the Guest Services Office or use the boat ramp honor box outside the store to pay the boat ramp fee. Canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals are available for rent all year. View our Park Fees for launch and rental details.
