The Race is conducted under the rules of boat racing as set out by USRowing, and competitors remain bound by all relevant rules and requirements of USRowing. To the extent of any inconsistency between the rules of USRowing and these rules, these rules shall prevail.

<h3>Conditions of Entry</h3>

Competing (starting) in races constitutes an undertaking that competitors from clubs will abide by the rules and will comply with any decision or instruction of the Regatta Committee and Boat Race Officials.

All competitors are required to wear club registered racing colors, and be proficient swimmers.

It is the responsibility of all clubs and schools to have their competitors covered with accident and injury insurance through their registration with USRowing.

Small rowed craft as follows:&nbsp;&nbsp;

Rowing: Sliding-seat (2X, 2-, 1X), both flat and open water designs
