Head of the Muskingum

The Head of the Muskingum is raced on the famous Muskingum River (the Mighty Musky!). The race will be 3 miles and finish at the Marietta College boathouse.
There are two boathouses gracing the riverbanks of the Mighty Musky. Marietta High School and the Harmar Rowing Club row out of the Carl L. Broughton Boathouse. Marietta College utilizes the historic but newly renovated Lindamood VanVoorhis Boathouse which sits just south of the Broughton Boathouse.
Spectating:
- Visit the Washington Street Bridge for a great view of the last straight stretch leading to the finish.
- Racing can be easily viewed from the the West or East riverbanks.
- The finish can be viewed from Muskingum Park.
